Child StretchingEveryone is an individual & some people are able to stretch or touch their toes easier than others.

It is important that if a child finds stretching hard that it is not forced with improper technique as a compensated pattern of movement will occur.

This simply means: The movement will occur in the most moveable part (hypermobility) at the expense of the part that is not freely moveable (hypomobility).

Remember we are all individuals, & it is not a problem but we may not be able to stretch easily like granny.

If you are unsure of anything or worried about a situation becoming a problem professional advice should be sought
